Summer Tennis Camps – Ages 11-17
Whether your teen is picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to improve their skills, our Summer Tennis Camps offer a fun and supportive environment. Designed for teens ages 11–17 who are eager to develop tennis skills or try the sport for the first time. Participants are grouped by age and skill level and introduced to proper footwork, racquet mechanics, and the basics of rallying, serving, and scoring. With opportunities to play on full-size courts, these camps are designed to build confidence, improve technique, and foster a love for the game. Teens will enjoy the chance to connect with peers, stay active, and grow their game. Beginners are welcome, and no prior experience is required.

WHAT TO BRING:

• water
• sunscreen
• comfortable shoes and clothes, and a jacket/sweatshirt if the weather is cool
• snack
• towel to sit on during breaks
• rackets provided, if needed

Weather & Camp Status Updates – Stay Informed with Statusfy

To prioritize the safety of all participants, RecTennis may cancel, delay, or shorten camp due to wet weather, as damp courts pose a safety risk. To ensure timely and accurate communication, RecTennis uses the Statusfy App to provide real-time updates.

How to Use the Statusfy App

• Favorite Your Camp: Tap the Star icon to easily access your camp’s page.
• Enable Alerts: Tap the Bell icon to receive updates. You can choose to be notified by app alert or email.
• Instructors may post additional details about cancellations or delays in the app.
• Note: Notification settings must be managed through the mobile app.

Statusfy is the official and primary source for camp updates. This ensures consistent, accurate information is available to everyone in real time.

Weather Guidelines & What to Expect

• Wet courts are not safe for play and may result in delays, cancellations, or early dismissal.
• Summer weather can change quickly. We’ll update Statusfy promptly once a decision has been made.
• RecTennis does not provide childcare during canceled sessions. Please plan accordingly.
• If rain starts during camp, instructors may reach out directly via text or phone if early pickup is needed.
• All official updates will be posted through Statusfy.
